Touching the Source is the 24 hour prayer ministry of Grace Bible Church held on the third Thursday of each month.

What will I need to do to be involved? Simply determine in your heart to commit to pray for half an hour (30 minutes) on that day for the needs of our church. Sign your name, pick a 30 minute time slot from 12 am to 11:30 pm that you would be willing to commit to prayer, and return to the church office.
Where will I need to pray? You can pray in the privacy of your home, at work, or wherever you may be. If you choose, you may come to the church facility to pray. It's quiet here!
How will I know what to pray about? Once you sign up, you will receive a packet of information in the mail which you will need to keep from month to month to refer to as you pray. Plus you will get a phone tree reminder the day before with any last minute special prayer requests.
What if I forget? You will receive the phone call the day before and periodically a letter in the mail from the prayer captain with updates and special requests for prayer needs.
When does the prayer time start? At 12 am Thursday morning and goes until 11:59 pm Thursday evening.
What if I miss my "scheduled" prayer time? Pray any time you can through the day.
What is the goal of Touching the Source Ministry? To have a group of committed people to pray around the clock one day a month for this body of believers and their needs.
Why is this necessary? Because:

Jesus himself often spent many hours in prayer.

God tells us to pray.

God works in and thru the prayers of his people.

Prayer is confessing our dependency upon God.
There is a time of prayer every Sunday morning from 9:00 - 9:30 am. We take this time to pray specifically for that Sunday morning's worship hour and all that is involved in this important time of the morning.
