Our mission is to reach out to the local community by meeting spiritual and physical needs

We do this through various ministries such as Nursing Home visits; sending cards and calls to those in the church who are sick, shut-in or in need of encouragement; various food ministries throughout the year; Adopt-A-Child during the Christmas season; working with the PDHC (Pregnancy Decision Health Centers); Clothing Drives for local Missions; and our Jail Ministry as an outreach to those who are incarcerated.

Jail Ministry

Outreach to those who are incarcerated.  Teams visit the inmates weekly at both Men’s and Women’s Facilities, providing opportunity to encourage, witness, mentor, pray, have Bible studies, and provide materials & literature.

Senior Citizens Ministries

Various outreach ministries including:

Nursing Home – {Devotionals, Bible Reading, Praying, Singing, Games, Visits}

Yard work, Minor home repairs, Transportation, Home Visits, Meals, Snow Removal, Communication {cards & calls}.  This provides an opportunity to befriend these people, make their life a little brighter and tell them about Jesus.

Appreciation Ministry

Outreach to various local groups and organizations such as the Local Fire Departments, Police Departments, Military personal, EMT, etc., in appreciation for their public service. This ministry provides an opportunity to spread the Gospel through Bibles, literature & tracts as well as introduce Grace Bible Church to them.

Food Ministries

This ministry involves providing sack lunches & meals for the homeless, as well as the gospel message, groceries for those in need, Food Banks, etc.

PDHC (Pregnancy Decision Health Centers)

Empowering individuals to make healthy life choices consistent with the intrinsic value of every human life. GBC will be participating in various aspects of this ministry including:  Prayer and Fundraising (Baby Bottle Campaign, Baby Blanket Drive, Diaper Drive, etc.).  This is a critical ministry that actually saves lives and meets the physical or mental well being of the prospective mother.

Cards & Calls Ministry

Sending cards and making calls to those who are sick, lonely, shut-in, in need of encouragement, etc. Just a way of showing that we care and are praying for them.

Touched by an Angel

Reaching out and touching lives.  Those receiving these gifts of kindness will range from the elderly, sick, poor, widows, widowers, single parents, those in unique situations, or just to encourage someone.   Candidates will be submitted by the congregation and as a rule, selection will be made by random drawing and occasionally by special needs. This ministry provides a unique gift each day, for 5 days, to these individuals.  While the purpose of this ministry is to reach out and encourage those outside of GBC, candidates from the church will be considered, depending on circumstances.
